3rd International Jundokan Gashuku in Cachan/Paris 2014

In October 2014 a group of six members of Austrian Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate-Do Jundokan, led by Dr. F. Gsodam, followed the invitation to the Gashuku.

The Gashuku was held and very well organized by Jundokan France, under the leadership of Shibucho Rene Ramanitrandrasana and his supporters, especially the family Papiernik. We have to say all of them a very hearty thank-you.
Members of Jundokan clubs from England, Italy, Madagaskar, Portugal and Sweden took part in also.

The whole day training was done in groups for the different ranks and Kata and Kata Bunkai were practiced intensively. The group of the Senseis from Jundokan, led by Kancho Miyazato, consisted of Kinjo Sensei, Gima Sensei and Nakada Sensei.

Two of our members passed the grading for Ni-Dan successfully and we congratulate them proudly.

Also a Shibu-meeting was held and important steps for further Gashukus in the future in Europe were discussed.

Besides the training there was also time left for communication between the participants and Senseis at the Welcome meeting and the Sayonara Party.

Last but not least some famous places in Paris could be visited by a part of the participants, like the new building of the “Foundation Luis Vuitton” and the Castle of Versailles.
