Traditional Weekend Seminar at Hollabrunn

From the 4th to the 6th of  October  2013  the traditional Jundokan Karate-Do weekend  seminar was held again by Dr. Friedrich Gsodam at the  Secondary Technical and Vocational  College Hollabrunn, Lower Austria.

35 participants from 5 Karate Clubs from Lower Austria and Vienna attended the 3 day seminar.

The two main goals of the seminar were the best preparation of the participants for the Vienna Championship and the visit of a number of students in November 2013 of  the Honbu Dojo in Okinawa.

Therefore Kata and Bunkai combined with the appropriate Kihon elements were practised to increase the performance of all students.

As a guest trainer for Jiyu Kumite Helmut Lohner, the famous trainer for Kumite of the Karate Federation of  Lower Austria, presented the latest Kumite rules of the WKF/AKF in an interesting practical lesson.

The participants lived at the comfortable “Sporthotel” in Hollabrunn and the served food was as excellent as in the past.
